Soul Sound Meditation would like to create a safe and peaceful space for you to just be and listen to the sound of your soul.
Releasing the mind does not have to mean you enter a state where no thoughts are present. Releasing the mind can also be about observing your thoughts and letting them go without judgement.
Start to show yourself the same amount of compassion that you show others. Practise patience and kindness towards yourself and see how this can enhance your meditation, and even better your life.
Take the time to be still and go inwards to really feel what your body and soul is expressing to you. Listen to what your soul has to say, listen to all the countless messages it is constantly sending you.
Meditation can be many things, but I do believe that we all can benifit from sitting still every now and then and look within. Meditation is about letting go of everything around you, and listening to how you feel on the inside. We also want to practise letting go of any stress or negativity, and find our own inner-peace and tranquility.
Meditation has been a part of my life ever since I was a child, but it was not until I was in my early twenties that I fully understood the benefits of meditation, and furthermore how I could use meditation in my everyday life. I have traveled to countless countries, where I have learnt from different meditation teachers and been lucky to participate in many mindfullness and yoga retreats. This is something I hope to continue with as long as possible, so that I can continue to evolve and grow personally and professionally.
I hope that Soul Sound Meditation can help to inspire you and show you different meditation techniques that can benefit your practice.
Here we focus on our breath and how our breath can help us and guide us in meditation. Pranayama means to breathe in Sanskrit and "prana", our lifeforce, is our main focus in breathwork. We will explore techniques and methods around the breath, and see how these can help us find stillness and tranquility.
Here we focus on the power of affirmations, and how they can help us feel self compassion and inner peace. What we say to ourselves matters and has an effect, so let's affirm positivity and love. Our intentions can help us in meditation and in our daily lives.
In this meditaion I invite you to connect to your feelings. I hope you can feel safe to feel whatever is needed to be felt at this very moment. With our breath we will explore what feelings come up, and try to give ourselves the permission to feel these feelings.
Here the focus is on clearing and balancing each one of our seven chakras, whilst being still with our body, mind and soul. Hopefully this meditation can help you heal each energy center, and therefore create balance and growth.
We also have different focus meditaions where the focus might be on finding our strength, connecting to our inner goddess, body scans, visual storytelling etc. The goal is always to find calmness and stillness by focusing on something that can help us meditate.
In our full moon meditaion we want to let go of all that no longer serves us. We will try to channel our energy with the fullness of the full moon and the fullness we might be feeling at this stage of the moon cycle. Together with the full moon we want to move into a new phase by letting go.
